Spring 2015 Nail Polish Picks

It's been a while since I've gotten excited about nail polish but so far in 2015 with a few new discoveries, I am right back in love with the art of painting nails. I have rummaged through my collection and selected 9 of my favourite shades for the upcoming spring season:

I even bought one of those nail swatch wheels (God, I love these things) to swatch the colours for you so you can get a better idea of the true colours and applications of each polish. Pro! I bought all of these polishes myself with the exception of the Orly colour which was a gift from a friend :) I buy Essie polishes from the drug store, Orly from Sally Beauty Supply, Nails Inc and Deborah Lippmann from Sephora, and Smith & Cult from a local boutique or Net-a-porter.com! I noticed that they will be stocked online at Neiman Marcus soon, too.

Swatched from top to bottom we have:

They were all swatched with two coats each, except for Essie Fiji which needed 3 coats for streak-free application and La Vie En Rose by Deborah Lippmann which is quite sheer.

And now for some up close shots:

What nail polish colours do you gravitate towards in the spring? I am usually all about the pastels and nudes, but a hint of a splash of blue or coral is always welcome :)
