Natura Bissé C+C Vitamin Splash
Today I'm reviewing a fancy face mist: Natura Bissé's C+C Vitamin Splash.
If this doesn't sound like the product to have in your arsenal this summer, I don't know what is:
"An exquisite mist of citrus and Mediterranean fragrances that revitalize your body and mind. A refreshing, hydrating and restorative concentrated energizer, rich in vitamins, that delivers instant relaxation and wellbeing. A water of life that will awaken all of your senses when you need them the most."
I had high hopes. I think that the Natura Bissé line is doing some great things... however this facial spray fell short for me. First things first, it costs $55 for 200mL of product, so my expectations are high from the get-go. It contains citrus extracts and antioxidants to refresh and tone the skin so it claims to be a bit of an all-rounder... toner, pre-makeup face mist, makeup refresher, etc. I like the bottle because it's very sturdy and high-quality. The mist that comes out is fine and feels refreshing. The scent is a bit medicinal, which I am OK with but... it just falls short. It doesn't do anything a face spray of a lower price point can't do.
It has a high alcohol content (it's second on the ingredients list) so any hydrating claims it makes can be thrown out the window. Now this does mean that it's a decent makeup setting spray but then again, if you're looking for a makeup setting spray you can get one from L'oreal for a quarter of the price that performs just as well. If you're looking for a hydrating face mist you can get one from MAC, Caudalie, Smashbox or make your own and you'll still have money left over for a fancy lunch.
So that's that. I will not be repurchasing this and I wanted to let you know my experience so you can form your own opinion on this product before you make your purchasing decision ;)
