How To Make Acne Marks Disappear

It's another edition of #SkincareSunday! You can catch up on all my skincare adventures here
Today's post focuses on a toner. An acid toner. A toner that has a cult following and up until last year I had no idea it existed: Lotion P50 by the French brand Biologique Recherche.

Biologique Recherche P50 Canada

I purchased a small bottle of it from a Canadian boutique called La Chambre Des Dames (USA ladies can get it from here) and off I went.

First impressions: it smells like vinegar. There's vinegar in it. It also contains good things like salicylic acid, lactic acid and niacinamide. It's a highly acidic toner that slightly stings upon application and that promises a clearer, more even complexion with repeated use. I use this every single night after cleansing and I have seen a great improvement in my skin since I started. If you are acne prone, you know how long it takes for post-pimple scars to fade away. This speeds up the process more than any other acid toners I have tried in the past.

With repeated use your skin starts to respond better and better. I did get a small initial "purging" phase when I first started using it - I had some extra blemishes that came up to the surface but once they were gone... I've been in the clear! I think this is a fantastic addition to your skincare routine if you are struggling with breakouts, hyperpigmentation or want to keep those fine lines at bay!

It's pricy (the mini bottle will set you back $27 and last for about 2-3 months) but if you opt for a larger sized bottle, it's a better value for money. I am only a quarter of the way through my bottle and I have been using it every other night for over a month. I will certainly be getting the big bottle of this once the little one runs out.
