YUM. These are finally launching in Canada next week. Maybelline kindly sent me lots of the colours to check out prior to the official launch, so I am excited to share them with you!

I'm a fan of the original Maybelline BabyLips lip balm (the medicated version saved my lips this lat winter). They're fun, inexpensive, hydrating, come in a variety of shades and finishes aaaaand they smell amazing. The new Maybelline BabyLips Moisturizing Lip Gloss is no different. They come in 3 different finishes - the creams, the shimmers and the jellies. The jellies are the sheerest, as expected. I was sent 2 of the shimmers, 1 cream and 3 jellies. From left to right we have A Wink Of Pink (shimmer), Just A Glimmer (shimmer), Tickled Pink (cream), Pink Pizazz (jelly), Coral Craze (jelly), Berry Chic (jelly).

I'll be incorporating them in various lip combinations throughout the next few weeks, but upon first impression my favorites are Tickled Pink (because it's the most pigmented and it's a super pretty creamy nude pink) and Pink Pizazz because it makes my lips look juicy and healthy. These smell delicious - sweet and fruity. They're not sticky and they do feel hydrating on the lips. They're the perfect gloss to throw in your bag and they're a joy to reapply throughout the day.

Will you be trying out this new lipgloss formula? US readers - you can buy these glosses at Ulta online for $4.49 and they're buy one get one 50% off right now! Canadian ladies - wait one more week then hit the drugstores to snatch 'em up!
