My Lips (and Lids) But Better with Giorgio Armani Beauty

This week I've been playing with two new makeup items that I purchased at the Armani counter. I dabble in Armani Beauty here and there, but it's not something I gravitate towards often. I had the new Eye Tints on my radar a few months ago but I forgot about them in the endless abyss of new makeup releases.

I got to swatch #11 Rose Ashes  and *plop* into my basket it went. It's a gorgeous subtle rosy taupe shade. It has a soft and flattering sheen (no glitter or shimmer particles) and it looks so wonderful by itself. I used it with nothing in the crease, just softly blended it out with my finger and voila - my lids, but better.

I also purchased the Smooth Silk lip pencil in #12 after my friend Dena recommended it and it's the perfect liner to enhance your natural lip line without it looking crazy.

It's that sexy blend of rose and mauve. I had been using Lancome Natural Mauve lip liner for this purpose but the Armani #12 is slightly deeper which makes an even better big lip illusion. The Armani lip pencils are not waxy or creamy, they remind me of Laura Mercier lip liners in their hardness and pigmentation. The pigment is here to stay. I paired the liner with NARS Montego Bay, which is one of my favorite matte "my lips but better" shades.

I think my workday makeup for the next month has been sorted :)
