My Spring/Summer Wardrobe
I'm trying to share more of my everyday outfits with you over on Instagram (@ssnardd - give it a follow if you haven't already) and the following pieces have been on heavy heavy rotation ever since I packed away my boots and coats. I've also tried to find similar alternatives for pieces that are no longer available. Check it out below!
1. Jeans & a T Shirt
Sadly the Zara jeans are now sold out due to the summer sale madness, but these by Paige are super similar and also sport the oh-so popular raw hem. These Zara jeans are also a good alternative for the look. Coral T-shirt is by AG and it's the perfect summer hue. The style name is Kiara and it's a great cut for a perfect soft T shirt.
2. Off The Shoulder Craze
I've given in to the off the shoulder bonanza happening right now and I'm glad I held out for this one. This is an effortlessly feminine blouse from Theory and it's a beautiful ivory silk colour. The cotton version is currently on sale both at Shopbop and The Bay! Shorts are Levi's and I'm obsessed with them. They're perfect and comfortable - not too skanky - I just can't get on board with the One Teaspoon diaper shorts.
3. Pure Laziness
Just pair your favorite casual summer romper with a T shirt or loose tank to switch it up a tad and there you have it. My favorite rompers/loose casual tanks are from Urban Outfitters, their selection never disappoints. I bought the romper I'm wearing in this photo at Urban Outfitters SIX years ago, and it's still going strong. Don't be afraid to invest. Sunnies are Illesteva and they may be my favorite summer purchase yet.
4. Let's Chill
Attention my US/Canada girls - if you're searching for a light knit to transition you from spring to summer, summer to fall - you have to check out the Babaton brand at Aritzia. I've been wearing the crap out of this thin waffle knit sweater for the last few seasons. They don't have this colour in the sale right now but there are plenty of other options on deck. Boyfriend jeans are from H&M and they're almost as comfortable as sweatpants. Almost.
What have been your style staples this season?
