An oversized vest makes such a great layering piece for this awkward time in between seasons. Too warm? Wear it with a short sleeve T-shirt and skirt underneath. Too cold? Layer long-sleeve knits underneath and throw a coat on top while you're braving the elements. I hope you're not tired of seeing me in this thing 'cause it's still going strong!
The appetite for spring wardrobe shopping is high. However, in an attempt to be a wiser, more careful consumer who makes fewer (albeit better) purchases, I am planning on curbing my appetite for excessive spring shopping by reorganizing my current closet situation and trying to rekindle the love for what I already own.
In my world, winter means dry skin patches and layering at least 3 tops and wrapping a wool throw around my legs at work because for some reason my office is located in the Antarctica part of the building. What's a girl to do?
Oversized knitwear, a scarf, ripped jeans and my Acne Jensen boots. Rinse and repeat.
This has been my uniform on most Fridays over the last few weeks, give or take a coat and cardigan, depending on the weather. Luckily I was in Santa Monica for a few days so my backdrop is a bit warmer than normal :)
