The beauty world has been touting the awesomeness of Burberry eyeshadows for years now. I own a whole bunch and I have never been disappointed by a Burberry eyeshadow purchase. When I saw that they released a new "Eye Colour Cream" formula for Fall 2015, I jumped on it and ordered one, sight unseen. The colour I bought is "Pink Heather", and it's awesome.
I find the name of the product quite misleading though. It's not really creamy. When I think of a cream eyeshadow I think of something like a MAC Paint Pot or and Tom Ford Cream Eyeshadow. The Burberry Eye Colour Cream is not that kind of cream shadow. It's more reminiscent of a tightly packed powder shadow that's slightly damp. The result is perfectly buildable sheer colour that has no fallout and that is incredibly easy to apply. Pink Heather is a gorgeous rosy/plummy bronze with a hint of sheen:
The lasting power on my oily eyelids without primer is about 5 hours before some slight creasing happens. With a primer it lasts all day until you decide to remove it!
You can build up the intensity and amp up the sheen by using it with a wet brush. I haven't used it wet yet because I'm still enamored with the effortless wash of colour it gives when applied with a fluffy blending brush. Burberry Eye Colour Cream can be found at Nordstrom, Sephora Online or a Burberry Beauty counter near you.
