It’s the first week of December and you’re starting to gear up for holiday shopping! Vrrrrrom vrroooom!
I admire the people that can get all their shopping done before the actual holiday season begins. I am not one of those people. In fact, I grew up Christmas Eve shopping with my dad so I’m a last minute girl through and through. This year I’ve tried to be more organized so in November I set up a Google Doc with a list of people I had to buy gifts for, and filled in random ideas as they popped in my head throughout the month. Now it’s time to hustle and start buying the stuff, so I put together a gift guide for you if you’re in need for some shop-spiration.
For the beauty enthusiast – I have some options from all different price ranges:
- < $25 I’m always a fan of funky nail polish – Smith & Cult have spectacular glitters that are sure to please any lady (or adventurous dude). My favorites are Gay Ponies Dancing in the Snow and Bitter Buddhist. I also adore the Too Faced Melted Kisses & Sweet Cheeks set. It’s $36 for the set but you get three separately boxed duos inside! Awesome stocking stuffer idea and the colors are great. I ended up keeping one of the duos for myself. #BeautyAddictProblems
Individual face or eye sheet masks would make great stocking stuffers too!
- <$50 Speaking of face masks, these Peter Thomas Roth, Farmacy, Dr. Jart and Glamglow mask sets are a fantastic way to gift a skin treat. Your friend can experiment and decide which mask they like best! Anyone can love and enjoy a face mask.
- <$100 I don’t own either of these but I am drooling at the thought. If you have a bigger beauty budget- the NARS Stephen Klein One Shocking Moment Cheek Palette or the Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow would make any lady incredibly happy this holiday season.
If you’re shopping for someone who’s into beauty but doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, the Aesop Andromeda body care gift set is amazeballs. Aesop is a fantastic high-quality body and skin care brand and would be a lovely treat to gift to a loved one.
For the caffeine enthusiast –
A monthly coffee membership. If you’re based in Canada, Nomad Coffee Club is awesome. They deliver freshly roasted coffee beans (delicious exotic variations from around the world) right to your doorstep. The packaging is beautiful and you have a few different options if you want to give it to someone for a gift – you can gift them 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of coffee, depending on your gifting budget! Shipping is free Canada-wide.
If your guy/girl friend is already set in their ways with their coffee source, how about getting them a Chemex? This manual pour-over style coffeemaker looks cool and makes a delicious brew at the same time. You can find it on Amazon in a variety of different sizes and it's something so cool and different. Not to mention it will look pretty cool on someone's kitchen counter!
There’s no better way to savour a weekend morning than by making an old-school cup of coffee.
For the dapper dude – *pats self on back for alliteration*
Aesop makes the sexiest body care products for men and women alike.
The packaging is sleek, cool, and the products smell really sexy and masculine. The gift sets this year are spot-on and are sure to please! If you’re crunched on time and think it might take too long for these products to arrive, you can always rely on Kiehls. The Kiehls Musk range has been my favorite for years (I use it and my boyfriend loves it as well). The only downer is that they don’t make a set with it – you’d have to buy the pieces you want separately and package them yourself. However, I have used the Shower Gel, Body Lotion and Eau De Parfum and can vouch for all three!
If you want to go a different pamper route, how about a beard oil? Tom Ford makes beard oil in his iconic Tobacco Vanille, Oud Wood and Neroli Portofino scents. I may or may not have just put one in my shopping cart.
If your dude does not have a beard, a Dollar Shave Club membership is an awesome gift option to ensure that he always has a fresh and reliable razor in his bathroom!
I hope you enjoyed this year's holiday gift guide... good luck with all your shopping and I hope you have an amazing holiday season with family and friends!!! X
