I’ve been loving dark blue liner as an alternative to my usual black or brown. I bought the color Th(ink) by Marc Jacobs and it does not disappoint. This Marc Jacobs eyeliner formula is fantastic. Especially if you have oilier eyelids – you have to add this to your list of things to try. It’s a twist-up pencil that has a soft gel texture. It glides on easily without dragging the eyelid. You have a minute or so to smudge it out if you wish, or you can let it set and then it’s there for the long haul. No smudging, no fading. This is the longest-lasting pencil eyeliner formula I own. Th(ink) is dark enough to still provide drama and definition, but the rich deep blue colour adds a bit of edge to your makeup look.
If you’re curious about the formula of these eyeliners, Laura (hapgurl8 on YouTube) did an awesome comparison of the Marc Jacobs eyeliner formula compared to Urban Decay – you can catch it here if you’re curious and then run over to Sephora to purchase your pencil. It comes in a variety of shades, even more shades of navy! Navy Noir is even darker and Midnight In Paris has a hint of a green undertone.
