I mentioned this product quite briefly in a few videos and a blog post here and there but I never really summed up my feelings about it so I figured it was a good topic for today's post.
I received this months ago from Liz Earle (not the Liz herself haha but a very kind PR representative) and I have been showing it a lot of love. I am quite new to the world of tinted moisturizer - the only other one I have and use being Dior HydraLife. They are quite different from each other!

I got the second shade, Beige - there were only 3 options. For reference I range from NC 25, 30, 35 throughout the seasons and was able to work with this throughout. It has a very sheer coverage but you can build it up if you use it with a brush to buff it in. I prefer applying it with my fingers though and just use a bit of concealer on any areas of concern. If you would like to see how it looks on a finished face of makeup check this previous FOTD post of mine.

It blends in easily but feels rather thick and greasy as you apply it. The Dior one glides on smoothly like a gel. It looks proper greasy when you first put it on which really freaked me out at first - the last thing my already oily skin needs is some more greasy looking action, let me tell you! Here's how it looks on the back of my hand after blending:

It evened out the skin tone perfectly. The coverage is really nice for me for lazy days. It also has an SPF of 15. Now, this glowy greasy finish does calm down a bit after about 5 minutes of letting it set but it definitely needs powdering. I am happy to report that with powdering, it lasts the entire day. No joke this lasted on my oily skin for a good 8 hours without me feeling like a greaseball. That is really great and my favourite feature of this product.

My only complaint? The smell. It smells weird, like rust and... sunflower oil... if that makes any sense. I don't know why, but it lingers on the skin for a while, too. Colour match isn't really that big of a deal since it is so sheer - sheer skin tint is an apt name for it - it will blend in easily and give you an even complexion.
If you have access to this brand and are curious, I definitely say it's worth a try. I'm amazed at the staying power given how glowy it looks when it's applied. The only problem is that I can't seem to find it on the website today... it used to be featured on the home page and now it's gone! Hmm... maybe they're putting some perfume in the formula ;)

Anyway, I hope this helps, I had gotten a few requests for a more in depth review of this before.

Hope you're all having a great week so far!
